About This Car
This 2013 Porsche Cayenne Diesel is a non-driving project that was acquired by the seller on BaT in September 2023, and it was specified new with the Premium Package Plus, Power Steering Plus, heated and ventilated power-adjustable front seats, heated rear seats, a Bose sound system, Lance Change Assist, PCM with navigation, and bi-xenon headlights with PDLS. Finished in black over matching leather upholstery, the truck is equipped with a turbocharged 3.0-liter diesel V6, an eight-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission, a locking center differential, 19â³ Cayenne Design II wheels, a sunroof, and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The truck currently has a significant oil leak from the engine oil pan, which will need to be addressed before road use. This Cayenne Diesel project is now offered at no reserve with recent parts invoices and a clean Illinois title in the seller’s name.
Black paint finishes the exterior, and features include bi-xenon headlights with the Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) as well as fog lights, front and rear ParkAssist, a sunroof, a receiver hitch, auto-dimming mirrors, and LED taillights. The Carfax report notes that the vehicle sustained damage to the rear in a rear-end collision with another motor vehicle in June 2022. The rear bumper cover was subsequently repainted. The front and rear wipers were replaced in the fall of 2024. Photos of exterior imperfections are viewable in the gallery below.
The 19″ Cayenne Design II alloy wheels are mounted with 265/50 Bridgestone Alenza AS Ultra all-season tires that were installed in January 2024. Stopping power is provided by silver-finished six-piston front and four-piston rear brake calipers over ventilated rotors at each corner. The vehicle was ordered with Power Steering Plus and a tire pressure monitoring system. A four-wheel alignment was performed after the tires were installed.
The cabin features heated and ventilated power-adjustable front seats and a heated rear bench upholstered in black leather joined by color-matching door panels. Debossed Porsche crests accent the headrests, and amenities include a rearview camera, all-weather floor mats, memory settings, Lane Change Assist, Lane Departure Warning, a Bose sound system, a CD stereo, dual-zone automatic climate control, power window shades, cruise control, and Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation. The infotainment system was retrofitted with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity under current ownership. The center console trim has scratches.
The heated three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a central tachometer, a 175-mph speedometer, a configurable digital display, and gauges for oil temperature, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. A stopwatch is mounted atop the dashboard. The digital odometer indicates 182k miles, approximately 25k of which were added under current ownership.
The turbocharged 3.0-liter diesel V6 was factory rated at 240 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque. The fuel filter, cabin filter, and engine air filter were replaced and the oil was changed in 2024. There is a significant oil leak from the engine, which increased following a recent attempt to reseal the oil pan. The oil pan will need to be resealed and the engine will require inspection before the vehicle can be driven. A video of the leak is viewable in the gallery below.
Power is sent to all four wheels through an eight-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission and a locking center differential. The fluids in the front and rear differentials were changed in July 2024, and the transfer case fluid was changed in September 2024.
The Carfax report shows the aforementioned June 2022 accident entry.
