About This Car
This 2008 Porsche Cayman is powered by a 2.7-liter flat-six paired with a five-speed manual transaxle and is finished in Midnight Blue Metallic over Sand Beige leather upholstery. Equipment includes 18″ five-spoke wheels, Silver NEOMAX coilover suspension, a deployable rear spoiler, fog lights, heated seats, a Bose sound system, cruise control, and a Kenwood head unit with Bluetooth connectivity. It was purchased in 2019 by the seller, and work performed since has included replacing the tires, exhaust, drive belts, thermostat, and water pump. This 987.1 Cayman is offered with service records, manufacturer’s literature, a Carfax report, and a clean Virginia title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Midnight Blue Metallic (39C) and features fog lights, quarter-panel intakes, a speed-dependent rear spoiler, and dual exhaust outlets. A January 2014 entry on the Carfax report lists a rear-end collision that resulted in “minor damage” to the rear and left rear of the car. There are scrapes on the underside of the front bumper cover, and close-up photographs of the exterior finish and trim are shown in the gallery below.
Silver 18″ five-spoke wheels are mounted with Continental ExtremeContact tires that have 2022 date codes. The car is equipped with Porsche Stability Management, and braking is handled by silver four-piston Porsche-branded calipers over cross-drilled rotors. The front brake pads and rotors were replaced in 2020, and Silver NEOMAX coilover suspension has been added.
The cabin features heated seats upholstered in Sand Beige leather along with a color-coordinated dashboard and carpets. Amenities include a CD stereo, a Bose sound system, air conditioning, cruise control, and a Kenwood head unit with Bluetooth connectivity. There are blemishes around the rear cargo area trim.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a central 8k-rpm tachometer, a 175-mph speedometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 120k miles, approximately 20k of which were added under current ownership.
The mid-mounted 2.7-liter flat-six is located ahead of the rear cargo area and was factory rated at 245 horsepower and 201 lb-ft of torque. The drive belts, thermostat, and water pump were replaced in October 2020, and the oil was last changed in September 2024.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. The exhaust was replaced under current ownership.
The Carfax report lists the aforementioned January 2014 damage.
