Braking is handled by yellow Porsche-branded six- and four-piston front and rear calipers over 13.8″ ceramic-composite rotors.

The heated power-adjustable hard-back adaptive front sport seats and folding individual rear seats are upholstered in black leather. The optional thicker leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a central tachometer and a 225-mph speedometer as well as gauges for oil temperature, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The twin-turbocharged and intercooled 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six was factory rated at 480 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque and features a BMC air filter. The Sport Chrono Package allows the 997.1 Turbo to overboost for up to 10 seconds, increasing peak rated torque to 505 lb-ft. Work in 2025 included changing the oil, recharging the air conditioning refrigerant, and replacing the turbo mounting studs, ignition coils, and spark plugs.

Power is sent to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and an all-wheel-drive system with an electronically controlled center differential and a mechanically locking rear differential. The clutch was reportedly replaced at 15k miles.
