About This Car
This 2008 Mercedes-Benz CLK63 AMG Black Series was registered in Mississippi and South Carolina before it was acquired by the seller in 2018, and it now has just under 12k miles. Powered by a 6.2-liter M156 V8 mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission, the car is finished in Obsidian Black over black Nappa leather upholstery. Equipment includes 19â³ AMG wheels, an AMG adjustable coilover suspension, bi-xenon headlights, carbon-fiber trim, Keyless-Go, dual-zone automatic climate control, a CD stereo, and COMAND infotainment with navigation. This CLK63 AMG Black Series was listed by the seller on BaT in October 2022 and is now offered in Virginia with manufacturerâs literature, a battery tender, two keys, a clean Carfax report, and a duplicate Maryland title in the sellerâs name.
DTM-inspired flared fenders, carbon-fiber-reinforced front and rear aprons, and a carbon-fiber decklid spoiler were added to the CLK63 Black Series. This example is finished in Obsidian Black (197) and features bi-xenon headlights, fender vents, headlight washers, window tint, and quadruple polished exhaust outlets. Paint protection film has been applied to the front end, roof, side skirts, rear spoiler, rear arches, and portions of the rear bumper cover.
The 19″ AMG multi-spoke forged aluminum wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires measuring 265/30 up front and 295/30 at the rear. Adjustable coilovers and AMG Electronic Stability Program (ESP) were standard equipment, and stopping power is provided by multi-piston AMG-branded calipers over cross-drilled and slotted rotors at all four corners. The seller tells us the brake fluid was flushed in July 2024.
The cockpit features bolstered bucket seats trimmed in black Nappa leather along with a color-coordinated dashboard, center console, door panels, and carpeting. The rear seats were deleted in Black Series models, and appointments include aluminum and carbon-fiber trim, Keyless-Go, AMG-branded floor mats, aluminum pedals, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, a CD stereo, and COMAND infotainment with navigation.
A flat-bottom leather-wrapped AMG steering wheel is equipped with paddle shifters and fronts a 200-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 12k miles, approximately 1,100 of which were added by the seller.
The hand-assembled 6.2-liter M156 V8 was factory rated at 500 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. The oil was changed in July 2024.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through an AMG Speedshift seven-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery below.
Manufacturer’s literature, a wheel lock kit, a battery tender, and two keys are included in the sale.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other reported damage.
The current Maryland title lists a “Duplicate or Corrected” notation.
