This 2005 Mercedes-Benz C55 AMG was acquired by the current owner on BaT in July 2021 and now has 58k miles. It is powered by a 5.4-liter V8 paired with a five-speed AMG SpeedShift automatic transmission and is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic over black Anthracite leather. Equipment includes the Lighting and Premium packages, bi-xenon headlights, fog lights, a sunroof, 18â³ AMG dual-spoke alloy wheels, and an AMG sport suspension, in addition to a power rear sunshade, power-adjustable front seats, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, Harman Kardon audio, and a touchscreen Kenwood head unit with wireless smartphone connectivity. This W203 AMG is now offered on behalf of the current owner with two key fobs, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Texas title in the current owner’s name.
The car is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) and features AMG bodywork consisting of a revised front fascia, rear apron, and side skirts. The Lighting package added bi-xenon headlights and heated headlight washers. Additional equipment includes a hood ornament, tinted windows, fog lights, a sunroof, and quad exhaust outlets. Images detailing the condition of the exterior are presented in the gallery below.
AMG 18â³ dual-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires that were installed in February 2022 and measure 225/40 up front and 245/35 out back. The car features an AMG sport suspension, and braking is handled by four-wheel disc brakes with AMG-branded calipers and drilled rotors in front. The tie rods and brake sensors were replaced in April 2022. The brake pads and rotors were replaced and the brake fluid was flushed in August 2023.
The cabin features heated and power-adjustable front sport seats upholstered in Anthracite Nappa leather. A touchscreen Kenwood head unit with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth connectivity was installed in preparation for the sale, and amenities also include a power rear sunshade, a Harman Kardon sound system, navigation, cruise control, and dual-zone automatic climate control. The amplifier module was replaced in November 2021. The removed stereo accompanies the car.
The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel frames an AMG-branded 200-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 59k miles, approximately 20k of which have been added under current ownership.
The 5.4-liter M113 V8 was factory rated at 362 horsepower and 376 lb-ft of torque. Work from 2021 through 2022 involved replacing the radiator, engine mounts, valve cover gaskets, spark plugs, and hood struts. An oil change was performed in August 2023, and the coolant reservoir was replaced in November 2023. A replacement battery was installed in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed AMG SpeedShift automatic transmission. A transmission service was performed in August 2021.
The Carfax report is free of accidents and other reported damage.
