About This Car
This 2004 Mercedes-Benz SL500 remained registered in Florida until 2024 and has 67k miles. Finished in black over gray leather upholstery, the car is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a power-folding hardtop, bi-xenon headlights, 18″ Avior wheels, heated seats, a Bose sound system, and a Kenwood head unit with navigation. Acquired by the selling dealer in 2024, this R230 is offered in Florida at no reserve with manufacturer’s literature and a clean Georgia title.
The car is finished in Black (040) and is equipped with a power-folding convertible hardtop, bi-xenon headlights, fog lights, dual exhaust outlets, and fender air vents. A February 2017 entry on the Carfax report lists “minor damage” to the right front corner and left front corner of the car, and the selling dealer notes that the front bumper trim has been refinished. Close-up photographs of the exterior finish and trim are shown in the gallery below.
Silver 18″ Avior wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires that have 2023 and 2024 date codes. The car features Automatic Slip Control (ASR) as well as an Electronic Stability Program (ESP), and coil springs have been installed in place of the Active Body Control (ABC) suspension.
The cabin features heated and power-adjustable seats that are upholstered in gray leather. Equipment includes dual-zone automatic climate control, a wind deflector, cruise control, a Bose sound system, and a Kenwood head unit with navigation. There is wear on the driver’s seat bolster.
The wood and leather-rimmed steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 67k miles.
The 5.0-liter M113 V8 was factory rated at 302 horsepower and 339 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed automatic transmission.
The Carfax report lists the aforementioned February 2017 damage.
