This 1998 Porsche 911 Carrera S coupe has been registered in California and Florida and now shows 9k miles. The car is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over Classic Grey upholstery, and it is powered by a 3.6-liter flat-six mated to a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes 18″ wheels, the Motor Sound Package, an Automatic Brake Differential, a sunroof, a speed-activated rear spoiler, power-adjustable front seats, a Becker cassette stereo, cruise control, and air conditioning. The 993 C2S featured wider bodywork, a split rear grille, and revised bumper covers and side skirts in comparison with the contemporary Carrera. This example is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic and features headlight washers, fog lights, power-adjustable mirrors, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and dual exhaust outlets. The 18″ Turbo Twist wheels are mounted with Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires that measure 225/40 up front and 285/30 at the rear. Braking is handled by Porsche-branded calipers over cross-drilled rotors at all four corners in addition to an Automatic Brake Differential (ABD). The suspension was adjusted and the brakes were flushed in 2022.

Classic Grey leather covers the seating surfaces, and additional features include front seat power height adjustments, a Becker cassette stereo, Porsche-branded floor mats, stainless-steel sill plates, an onboard computer, cruise control, and air conditioning. The driver-side seat hinge cover was replaced in 2022.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, a 180-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, oil level, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 9k miles, approximately 100 of which were added under current ownership.

The air-cooled 3.6L M64 flat-six features a VarioRam intake system and was factory rated at 282 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque. The car is equipped with the optional Motor Sound Package, which added a revised intake and mufflers. Service by Canepa in Scotts Valley, California in 2022 included replacing the sound deadening pad and horns in addition to refreshing the air conditioning system.

Power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The upper and lower shift slide bushings, shift guide tube, shift fork bushing, and angle joint were replaced and the transmission fluid was flushed in 2022.
