About This Car
This 1975 Porsche 914 remained in storage for approximately 20 years before undergoing a multi-year refurbishment between 2022 and 2024. Work reportedly included a repaint in Zambezi Green, reupholstering the interior in beige vinyl, installing 15″ eight-spoke wheels and a retro-style radio, and overhauling the 1.8L air-cooled flat-four and five-speed manual transaxle. Additional details include Bosch L-Jetronic fuel injection, four-wheel disc brakes, pop-up headlights, fog lights, a black removable Targa top, Porsche script on the lower body panels, a heater, a cigarette lighter, and an analog clock. Now showing 69k miles, this 914 is now offered with manufacturer’s literature, touch-up paint, a jack, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The car was factory-finished in Zambezi Green (L64K) and was repainted during the refurbishment. Exterior details include pop-up headlights, fog lights, a black removable Targa top, black sail panels, a driver-side mirror, and Porsche script on the lower body panels.
The 15″ eight-spoke wheels are finished in black and are mounted with 195/60 Fullway HP108 tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel discs.
The seats are trimmed in beige vinyl and are joined by color-coordinated carpeting and door panels. Interior elements include a heater, wind-up windows, three-point seatbelts, a cigarette lighter, and a retro-style radio with Bluetooth connectivity. There is a split in the roll bar trim as well as the lower dashboard near the radio.
The four-spoke steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer, a 150-mph speedometer, and a fuel level gauge. An analog clock and readouts for engine temperature and voltage are housed in the center console. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 69k miles, approximately 1k of which have been added under current ownership.
The mid-mounted 1.8L air-cooled flat-four was overhauled as part of the refurbishment and features Bosch L-Jetronic fuel injection for a factory rated at 73 horsepower.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. Additional underside images are provided in the gallery below.
