About This Car
This 1972 Triumph TR6 was registered in California before it was acquired by the selling dealer in 2025, and it is powered by a 2.5-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Finished in white over black vinyl upholstery, the car is equipped with dual Weber downdraft carburetors, a spin-on oil filter adaptor, a black convertible top, 15â³ steel wheels, power-assisted front disc brakes, and a retro-style digital stereo. A replacement wood dashboard insert and wood door caps are said to have been installed in 2024. This TR6 is now offered in Arizona by the selling dealer at no reserve with an owner’s manual and a clean California title.
The car was finished in White (19) from the factory, and it was repainted under previous ownership. Exterior details include a black convertible top, a top boot, gold pinstripes, and a driver-side door mirror. Discoloration is present on the soft top windows, and there are paint cracks above the front wheel arches and in front of the left door.
Silver 15â³ steel wheels feature polished trim rings and are mounted with 205/70 Primewell PS850 tires. Stopping power is provided by front disc and rear drum brakes. The brake hydraulic system utilizes DOT-5 silicone brake fluid, and refurbished front suspension components are viewable in the gallery below.
The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl, and interior appointments include a retro-style digital radio, a locking glovebox, a wooden shift knob, and a heater. A replacement wooden dashboard insert was refurbished with lacquer prior to installation along with wood door caps in 2024, according to the selling dealer. A hands-free phone microphone is present to the left of the center stack.
A three-spoke steering wheel fronts a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer while gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, amperage, and fuel level are mounted in the center of the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 82k miles, a handful of which were added under current ownership.
The 2.5-liter inline-six has been retrofitted with dual Weber downdraft carburetors and a spin-on oil filter adaptor. Cobalt ignition wires have also been installed.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.
