About This Car
This 2017 BMW M3 sedan was ordered with the Competition Package and acquired in 2022 by the seller. It was subsequently modified with upgraded twin turbochargers, a revised fuel pump, custom ECU tuning software, and an Active Autowerke cat-back exhaust system. The car rides on lowering springs along with 19″ BBS LM wheels, and it is finished in Silverstone Metallic over Anthracite Carbon Structure upholstery. Power comes from a 3.0-liter S55 inline-six paired with a seven-speed M DCT dual-clutch transmission and an Active M differential, and additional equipment includes a carbon-fiber roof panel, aftermarket taillight assemblies, heated and power-adjustable lightweight front sport seats, a Harman Kardon sound system, carbon-fiber interior trim, and a flat-bottom steering wheel with a multifunction display. This modified F80 M3 indicates 100k miles and is now offered at no reserve with a Carfax report and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.
The F80 M3 featured widened bodywork along with revised fender vents and bumpers compared to the standard 3-series, and this example is finished in Silverstone Metallic with Shadowline trim. Gloss-black kidney grilles, side gills, and rear model badging were specified by the Competition package, and revised taillight assemblies have been added along with a carbon-fiber decklid spoiler and roof panel. The photos were taken in December 2024, and the car has traveled approximately 2,200 miles since then.
Adaptive LED headlights were added by the optional Lighting Package, and the exterior features additional carbon-fiber components including the grille surrounds, mirror caps, and rear diffuser, which incorporates an additional brake light. The Carfax report contains two entries from 2017 describing incidents that resulted in “very minor damage” and “minor damage” to the front and front-left areas of the car. A July 2018 entry states that  “minor to moderate damage” occurred at the rear, front, and right-front areas, while a fourth February 2022 entry notes that “minor damage” was incurred, with no further information provided. The seller states that the front and rear bumper covers have been replaced. Some of the parking sensors and various covers are missing from both bumper covers. Photos provided in the gallery show the condition of the carbon-fiber roof as well as cracks in the lower windshield trim. Inconsistent panel gaps and various blemishes are present around the front of the car.
BBS LM 19″ two-piece wheels with bronze-finished centers are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires measuring 275/35 up front and 305/30 out back. Lowering springs were installed under current ownership, and the Competition package included a quicker steering ratio, stiffer springs and anti-roll bars, and revised settings for the Adaptive M Suspension system and stability control. Braking is handled by blue-finished M-branded calipers fitted over cross-drilled and ventilated rotors at all four corners. Per the seller, the wheel hubs and bearings have been replaced.
The heated and power-adjustable lightweight front sport seats feature M badges on the backrests, and they are trimmed in Anthracite Carbon Structure cloth and black leather that extends to the rear bench and portions of the door panels. Carbon-fiber trim accents the cabin, which is further appointed with a Harman Kardon sound system, Comfort Access keyless entry, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, and iDrive infotainment with navigation. A radar detector is mounted ahead of the rearview mirror.
The aftermarket flat-bottomed steering wheel is wrapped in Alcantara and carbon fiber, and it features blue shift paddles and a display that provides readouts for various parameters. Instrumentation just ahead consists of a 200-mph speedometer, an 8,500-rpm tachometer, an information display, and gauges for oil temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 100k miles, approximately 45k of which have been added by the seller.
The twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter S55 inline-six was modified in 2023 with upgraded turbochargers from Precision Sport Industries of Ovideo, Florida. Supporting modifications included a revised crankshaft hub and fuel pump as well as custom ECU tuning software from JordanTuned and an Active Autowerke cat-back exhaust. An oil change was most recently carried out in November 2024, per the Carfax report.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed M DCT dual-clutch transmission and an electronically controlled Active M differential, which is mounted with aftermarket bushings.
The Carfax report contains the aforementioned damage reports.
