About This Car
This 1964 Porsche 356C cabriolet received a cosmetic refurbishment around 2005 and was purchased by the prior owner in 2015 before being acquired by the selling dealer last year. The car is finished in black over red leatherette and is powered by a 1.6-liter flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes a black soft top, 15″ steel wheels, disc brakes, body-color bumpers, twin engine grilles, front bucket seats, a modified Blaupunkt AM/FM radio with Bluetooth, and an analog clock. Work in 2024 involved overhauling the carburetors, repairing the distributor, and replacing the muffler, axle boots, and ignition coil and wires. This 356C cabriolet is now offered at no reserve with Porsche driver’s and technical manuals, partial service records, spare keys, and a clean Washington title, listing it as a 1965 model.

The 15″ steel wheels are mounted with Yokohama tires measuring 185/65. The car was factory equipped with disc brakes at each corner. The rear ride height was adjusted in 2021.
The front bucket seats and rear jump seats are upholstered in red leatherette. The Blaupunkt AM/FM radio has been modified with a digital display behind the factory faceplate along with Bluetooth.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation consisting of a central tachometer with a 5,200-rpm redline as well as a 120-mph speedometer and a combination gauge for oil temperature and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 95k miles, which is not considered to be accurate. Total mileage is unknown.
The 1.6-liter 616/15 flat-four was factory rated at 88 horsepower and 90 lb-ft of torque. Work in 2024 involved replacing the muffler, ignition coil, and ignition wires along with overhauling the carburetors and repairing the distributor.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle. The axle boots were replaced and the transmission fluid changed in 2024.
