About This Car
This 1974 Mercedes-Benz 450SLC was purchased by the current owner in 2006, and it now shows 201k miles. It is powered by a 4.5-liter M117 V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and is finished in light blue. Equipment includes 14″ steel wheels with body-color covers as well as a sunroof, a Blaupunkt cassette stereo, aftermarket seat covers, cruise control, air conditioning, and power windows. This 450SLC is now offered at no reserve by the seller on behalf of the current owner with a clean Florida title in the owner’s name.
The SLC features a wheelbase approximately 14â³ longer than the convertible SL, affording room for rear seats. This example is finished in light blue and features a sunroof, dual side mirrors, and bright trim. Rust is present near the bottom of the right door, rear window surround, and rear wheel wells, and dents in the bodywork are noted.
The car has 14″ steel wheels that feature body-color covers. Braking is handled by four-wheel power-assisted discs.
The seats wear aftermarket covers, and interior equipment includes a Blaupunkt cassette stereo, cruise control, air conditioning, and power windows. The seller notes that the seats are worn and have tears.
The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, a clock, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 201k miles, approximately 65k of which were added under current ownership.
The 4.5-liter M117 V8 sends power to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission.
