This 1979 Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith II is a California-market example that was among 14 cars purchased by the selling dealer out of the collection of Olympic gold medalist Bob Richards in August 2023. The 6.75-liter V8 last ran at that time, although it turns over, and the car is also equipped with a three-speed automatic transmission, a vinyl roof, 15″ steel wheels with polished covers, power-adjustable front seats, a Blaupunkt radio, a Pioneer cassette-tape player, rear-passenger footrests, power windows, and automatic climate control. The car was ordered new through Rolls-Royce of Beverly Hills, California, in Exeter Blue over Light Blue Connolly leather with Dark Blue accents and burled-wood veneers. This non-running Silver Wraith II project shows 31k miles and is now offered by the selling dealer at no reserve with literature, records, and a clean Texas title.

The car is finished in Exeter Blue with a contrasting vinyl roof, and it features a stainless-steel Doric-inspired grille with a Spirit of Ecstasy ornament as well as quad round headlights.

The 15″ steel wheels feature polished covers with Rolls-Royce logos. The operating condition of the brakes and the hydraulic self-leveling system is unknown.

The seating surfaces are upholstered in Light Blue Connolly leather with Dark Blue piping, while burl wood trim accents the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Interior appointments include a rear bench seat, a Blaupunkt radio, a Pioneer cassette-tape player, rear seat headrests, rear-passenger footrests, power windows, and automatic climate control.

Instrumentation includes an 85-mph speedometer, a warning lamp panel, an ambient-temperature thermometer, a clock, a combination gauge for amperage, coolant temperature, fuel level, and oil pressure. The six-digit odometer shows 31k miles.

The 6.75-liter V8 last ran in August 2023, per the seller, who reports that no attempts have been made to start the car since then. The engine is equipped with an aluminum-silicon alloy block and aluminum cylinder heads along with dual SU carburetors.
