About This Car
This 1978 Toyota Corolla wagon was reportedly sold new in Sweden and was acquired by the current owner in Italy approximately four years ago. It is finished in yellow with tan cloth upholstery and is powered by a 1,166cc inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes 13″ steel wheels, front disc brakes, chrome bumpers, headlight washers, a cabin heater, hand-crank windows, a cigarette lighter, and a rear window defroster. This Corolla wagon shows 96k kilometers (~60k miles) and is now offered in Milan, Italy, by the seller on behalf of their spouse with a spare set of wheels and winter tires, a tool roll, two sets of keys, touch-up paint, manufacturer’s literature, and Italian registration.
The five-door body is finished in yellow and features chrome bumpers, headlight washers, front and rear windshield washers, and a rear windshield wiper. A “My Toyota is Fantastic” sticker is affixed to the rear window. Images of paint meter readings taken in preparation for the sale are provided in the gallery and are shown in a video below.
The 13″ steel wheels were mounted with 175/70 Dunlop Street Response 2 tires in 2021, and have since accrued approximately 5k kilometers of wear. A full-size spare is secured to the underside. Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums. The rear shock absorbers and wheel bearings have been replaced.
The front bucket seats and the rear bench are trimmed in tan cloth upholstery and are joined by a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpeting. Interior elements include a cabin heater, hand-crank windows, a cigarette lighter, and a rear window defroster. Interior blemishes are detailed in a video provided below.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 180-km/h speedometer and a combination gauge with readouts for coolant temperature and fuel level. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 96k kilometers (~60k miles).
The 1,166cc 3K-C inline-four was factory rated at 58 horsepower and 63 lb-ft of torque. The seller notes that an engine heater is equipped.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.
Manufacturer’s literature is included in the sale along with German and Swedish documentation, a tool roll with Toyota-branded tools, and two sets of keys.
A spare set of aftermarket wheels mounted with winter tires are also included.
A majority of the inline images and photos in the gallery are from November 2022, and approximately 4,700 miles have been added since then.
