About This Car
This 2001 Mercedes-Benz CL500 coupe remained registered in California until 2025 and has 60k miles. It is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 paired with a five-speed automatic transmission and is finished in Capri Blue Metallic over gray leather upholstery. Features include bi-xenon headlights, parking sensors, a sunroof, 17″ aluminum wheels, a power rear-window sunshade, heated and ventilated dynamic front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a Bose sound system, and COMAND infotainment with navigation. Acquired by the selling dealer in 2025, this C215 is offered in California at no reserve with manufacturer’s literature and a clean Montana title.
The pillarless coupe body is finished in Capri Blue Metallic (359) and features a sunroof, bi-xenon headlights, fog lights, rain-sensing windshield wipers, power-folding and heated side mirrors, parking sensors, and dual exhaust outlets. A July 2007 entry on the Carfax report lists an accident with no additional information, while a subsequent entry from April 2021 lists “minor damage” to the rear of the car. Close-up photographs of the exterior finish and trim are shown in the gallery below.
Silver 17″ 10-spoke cast aluminum wheels are mounted with Michelin Defender tires. Active Body Control (ABC) suspension and an Electronic Stability Program (ESP) were standard equipment, and braking is handled by four-piston Brembo front calipers and cross-drilled front and ventilated rear discs.
The cabin features heated and ventilated dynamic front seats and individual contoured rear seats trimmed in gray leather, and wood veneers accent the center console, shifter, and door panels. Equipment includes a power rear-window sunshade, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, a Bose sound system, and COMAND infotainment with navigation.
The leather- and wood-trimmed four-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 61k miles, approximately 300 of which were added by the selling dealer.
The 5.0-liter SOHC 24-valve V8 was factory rated at 302 horsepower and 339 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed in January 2025.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission with Touch Shift.
The Carfax report lists the aforementioned July 2007 accident and April 2021 damage.
